1. The service
StreamLink ("we", "us") relays live video from IP cameras you connect and lets you share it through links and embedded players. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use StreamLink for a company, you accept them on its behalf.
StreamLink shows live video only. It does not record or back up video.
2. Accounts
- Accounts are opened for approved customers. We may decline or limit an account.
- Keep your sign-in details safe. We recommend turning on two-factor sign-in. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- Give us a working email address. We use it for important notices about the service.
3. Acceptable use
You may only connect cameras that you own or are authorised to share. You must not use StreamLink to:
- film or share places where people reasonably expect privacy, such as toilets, changing rooms, bedrooms or medical rooms;
- film people without the notice or consent the law requires, or share video of children without the permission of their parents or guardians;
- share illegal, sexually explicit, violent or hateful content, or infringe anyone's rights;
- break into, overload or probe our systems, or connect cameras or devices that don't belong to you;
- resell or rebrand the service without our written agreement.
4. Your cameras and content
You keep all rights to your video. You let us process and transmit it as needed to provide the service to you and your viewers. You decide who can watch, through links, passwords, working hours and other settings, and you are responsible for those choices and for complying with the privacy and surveillance laws that apply to your cameras.
If we receive a credible complaint that a stream breaks these terms or the law, we may disable it while we look into it.
5. Availability
We work to keep StreamLink running smoothly, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Streams depend on your camera, its internet connection and the viewer's network. We may change, improve or remove features, and will give notice of significant changes where we reasonably can. Don't use StreamLink as the only means of security monitoring or for any safety-critical purpose.
6. Fees
Prices, limits and payment terms are those agreed with you in writing (for example in a quote or invoice). If you don't pay amounts due, we may suspend the service after notice.
7. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or data, or for events such as a stream not being available at a particular time. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
You agree to cover our reasonable costs from claims that arise because your cameras or your use of the service broke these terms or the law.
8. Suspension and ending
You can stop using StreamLink at any time and delete your cameras in the dashboard. To close your account, contact us. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts the service or others at risk, or as required by law. Where reasonable, we'll tell you first.
9. General
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over disputes. We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version, and we'll email account holders about significant changes. If you keep using StreamLink after a change takes effect, the new terms apply.
