Questions

What is the best way to stream an IP camera to a website?

Use a hosted service that turns the camera's RTSP stream into a link and an embed code that play in every browser. StreamLink, IPCamLive and RTSP.me do this without running your own server; Wowza is server software for teams that want to run their own.

Which service has the lowest delay?

Services that play over WebRTC are the fastest, usually under a second. StreamLink uses WebRTC on every plan, with HLS as a backup on networks that block it. RTSP.me also offers WebRTC; IPCamLive offers a low-latency player on its Professional plan and above.

Is there a free IP camera streaming service with website embedding?

Yes. StreamLink's free plan includes one camera with 100 views a month and the embed code. RTSP.me's first 100 views a month are free. IPCamLive's free Basic plan doesn't include website embedding.

Can I pay in rupees with a GST invoice?

StreamLink bills in Indian rupees and issues GST invoices. IPCamLive and Wowza bill in US dollars, and RTSP.me in euros.
